Well the election is over and I did not vote for the lesser of two evils. Apparently everybody else did. Some people weren’t sure which was which though. Evil has a way of looking like evil no matter how evil it is.
I did not vote for the new Republican senator in my state. I would not vote for him if he was the best senator ever and he was running against Satan. To paraphrase Thomas Sowell, The important thing is not that he was running, but how he got the nomination. I’ll never trust a crook. And that’s crooked to use the two party system to ram your choice down the voters throat. But of course, if the voters are still dumbed down enough to let them get away with it, we’ll all get the government they deserve. If the voters keep voting for them, they’ll keep doing it. And there are those who say that you have a choice in the primary and you should vote for whomsoever gets the nod.
A third party is looking mighty good about now. But the sheeple would never join it, so we’re back to square one.
Well anyway, the election is over but the talk goes on. There is no serious news on the net that I found. Everybody is still giving their slant on the outcome. So go to your favorite columnist’s site and catch up on their archives. If I find anything worth reading I’ll let you know.
Now for my slant. Wait and see. The pols are unpredictable. Except that you can always not trust them. They’re not there to serve.
