Election Day

Once the election is over the focus on next year’s statewide elections will begin and it would appear that the establishment forces of the GOP campaign arm is making every effort to block TEA Party supported candidates. In a recent article at Breitbart we are told that The National Republican Senate Committee, the GOP campaign arm responsible for Senate elections, has decided to use its political power to block consulting firm Jamestown Associates from receiving political work from GOP candidates or incumbents.

Jamestown Associates has done work with the Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF), a conservative group largely responsible for the elections of Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Rand Paul (R-KY), Deb Fischer (R-NE), Pat Toomey (R-PA), and Ron Johnson (R-WI), among others. Former Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC), who left the U.S. Senate last year to become the president of the Heritage Foundation, founded SCF.

It would seem that the GOP would have us support candidates who make campaign promises they have demonstrated they will not deliver on or to accept the promises of candidates who do deliver but have a very different agenda for America’s future.

Ironically while most Americans agree with the issues the TEA Party stands for the TEA Party itself is looked down upon thanks to a press that operates like a 4th column in advancing the socialist agenda that is being forced on us all.

It would seem the GOP thinks it can win elections by alienating its most ardent and vocal base of conservatives and rather than accept the premise that the GOP is hurting because of the actions of the establishment who has completely lost touch with the heartbeat of the nation, they blame the TEA Party.

We need politicians to stop make excuses and to start making a difference. That will only happen if you are involved. To be involved you must be informed. You must know what is going on to separate the wheat from the chaff because the future of this state and this nation begins with you not with them. We the people are that 4th part of the checks and balanaces in the powers that control the direction we are going in both as a State and as a Nation.

In the long history of the Socialist agenda of a promised Utopian society it has never once come into fruition because government is a force of power and the more power it grants to itself as a result of a people unwilling to hold that government accountable, the greater the tyranny of that force of power. We then see a government where the people are held accountable to their government rather than the other way around. In my opinion that is exactly what we are seeing in the actions of The National Republican Senate Committee in the efforts to silence the voice of the TEA Party.

It is also the actions of the Democratic Party in General. The choices are becoming simple….which boot do you want on your throat, the right foot or the left foot. Until will stand up and say neither and start fighting the good fight we have no one to blame but ourself. That begins by elections and then each election and each candidate must be held accountable to the promises they made on the campaign trail. They either deliver or they don’t and when they don’t we have a responsibility to stand up to them and bid them adieu.

That becomes an undaunting task because in the process you take on a very powerful force that has a great deal of control over the media and they will do everything in their power to ridicule you or paint you as an extremist who is a threat to society in general. When that is allowed to take place truth is sacrificed and principle pays the price.

Our individual freedoms and liberties are at stake. We have a Nation and a State that was formed and consecrated to the protections of those freedoms and liberties through our State and Federal Constitutions. That consecration was framed around a very simple concept – the protections of our rights to life, liberty and the acquiring, securing and protection of our individual property.

When you vote, that is what your vote should stand for. Not for party but for principle. It doesn’t matter what the race is, from school board to the President of the United States. When you choose to not defend the security of your own property you have no one to blame but yourself.
