Santorum is an eloquent spokesperson for the culture of life. He has been savaged and ridiculed by leftist elites for upholding traditional family values — not just in word, but in deed.
He won Iowa through hard work and competent campaign management. Santorum has improved in every GOP debate and gave his strongest performance last week in Florida, wherein he both dismantled Romneycare and popped the Newt bubble by directly challenging the front-runners’ character and candor without resorting to their petty tactics.
He rose above the fray by sticking to issues.
Most commendably, he refused to join Gingrich and Perry in indulging in the contemptible Occupier rhetoric against Romney. Character and honor matter. Santorum has it.-Michelle Malkin

Ron Paul probably has the most supporters in this group, but I don’t think just being able to say NO! makes a good parent or president. Parents need to run a household and presidents need to run a country. I agree on most of Paul’s and the Bircher’s ideas, but letting someone hit you just so you can stick your nose in the air and say ” He hit me first!” isn’t the high moral ground. If you hit him back it’s revenge, not self defense. If a president lets a war start because he was too stuck on himself to make a preemptive strike in defense of his country, it’s not a just war. We should be picking a president who is a good Commander-in-Chief, knows how to pick a postmaster, and can run a small -notice small- bureaucracy. We need to be able to trust him to fulfill these Constitutional obligations well and honestly.
