Who’s pushing Granny off the cliff?

MEDICARE
Look clearly at the 2014 rate compared to the 2013 rate.
“The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the present Monthly Fee of $96.40, rising to:
$104.20 in 2012
$120.20 in 2013 – an increase of 15% over 2012
$247.00 in 2014. – an increase of 237% over 2012

These are Provisions incorporated in the Obamacare Legislation, purposely delayed so as not to confuse the 2012 Re-Election Campaigns.

“Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured… but not everyone must prove they are a citizen.”

Now add this, “Many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens.”

MUGWUMP

When voting, it was our duty to vote for the best man, regardless of his party name. We had no other creed. Vote for the best man–that was creed enough.

Restitution

Take a good long look at the country and understand that something is decidedly different, perhaps even unprecedented, in the mood of the electorate. I’ll make it simple for you: a substantial majority of Americans want their country back. Give it to them.” –columnist Arnold Ahlert

It stinks

In 2008 patriots held their noses and voted against Obama. It didn’t work and they’re not going to do it this time.

They don’t trust Romney as far as they can throw a chimney by its smoke. And Ryan doesn’t vote the way he talks either. Gary Johnson is another Ron Paul with his own agenda for America. The lesser of two evils is still evil. Have you never heard that before? If you have your choice between two prisons to serve a life sentence, any other option is better. Our founders understood that.

What this country needs is a mama grizzly to clean it up. Someone with a track record of working for Americans, not pols and their lackeys. Who do you want me to write in for your running mate, mama grizzly?

Choose Your Moron

As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.” ~H.L. Mencken

Getting Personal

Romney is not only running against the Chicago machine politics of Obama, he’s running against the entertainment industry, most newspapers and magazines, all of academia, the trial lawyers, and all public sector labor unions. It won’t be easy for him to get his message through all of that, but somehow he must if he is to win. The three presidential debates can be his best hope.

If Obama succeeds in his demonizing, in making it sound like Romney is so bad that Americans are better off staying with what they’ve got, then Romney will lose. If, however, the debates focus on plans for creating jobs, growing the economy and regaining American prestige around the world then Romney wins. In the war of ideas Americans still opt for strength, freedom and independence over totalitarian rule every time.

That’s about it. It shouldn’t be a tough decision for anyone who knows which kind of country they want to live in.

Hey, Media, a $75K Mechanic Pays a Lower Tax Rate Than Romney

The liberal Tax Policy Center reports that 91.4 percent of individual taxpayers with adjusted gross incomes (AGI) between $50,000 and $100,000 pay less than 15 percent in taxes. And 43.9 percent of the $50,000-$100,000 AGI taxpayers pay an effective rate between 5 and 9.99 percent, while 4.6 percent of this group pay no federal income tax at all.

Previous editions of a widely used high school textbook, “The American Pageant,” by Thomas Bailey and David Kennedy, show charts on the federal deficit in historical dollars. When it came to the Ronald Reagan years, the graphic shows a rapidly increasing deficit. But as a share of the gross national product, Reagan’s deficits are really much smaller than FDR’s. By not showing the numbers as a share of the GNP, their charts make his deficits look outrageous. Of the textbook’s depiction of the “outsized” Reagan deficit, University of Dayton history professor Larry Schweikart said, “The appearance to mislead seems intentional.”

Well, ABC, NBC, NPR, is it intentional?

Marching Orders

It is a badly kept secret that communism, despite the fact that it is responsible for the deaths of ten times as many people as Nazism, retains a certain level of “chic” within the precincts of the American left. That attraction is motivated by leftist visions of a socialist utopian society, despite the abject failure to achieve such a society time and time again throughout the course of history. It is also motivated by a gargantuan level of hubris: leftists remain convinced those failures can be primarily attributed to the idea that the “wrong people were in charge.” As a result, the American left was determined to pursue “detente” with the Soviet Union right up to its collapse.

Thus, it remains completely unsurprising that there are people who believe a marching band commemorating communism is indeed a “good idea.” And while such an effort ought to offend most Americans, it should also act as a reminder of something critically important: the battle for this nation’s heart and soul is not taking place in Washington, D.C. It is taking place in public school classrooms across this nation, and it is a battle the American left is determined to win — even if America’s children are given their “marching orders” in the process.
Arnold Ahlert

You people just won’t get it. The presidential election is a farce. The dumbed down kids are voting. In Pennsylvania, you can get an undocumented voter photo ID. Romney won’t win. Even if he did, nothing would change in this country. If you want to take back the country, take back the schools. prodogg1

The American Way

The bigger the state, the smaller the citizen.

Every Republican candidate should be repeating that truth in every speech.

Why? Because the American experiment is on trial this November:

–Are we to remain the heirs of the American Revolution or become heirs to the French Revolution?

–Do we want to take care of ourselves, our families, and our communities — or do we want, as in Europe, the government to do so?

–Is it moral or compassionate to saddle our children and grandchildren with a crippling national debt?

–Is it moral or compassionate to keep printing dollars, which both devalues the savings of all Americans and imposes a tax on all Americans, especially on the poorest?

These are the questions Romney must pose every day and in many of his ads. Only when Americans have to answer these questions will a sufficient number of them vote Republican this November.
