I said it the other night on Hannity and my column today fleshes out my point: The “Obama is a nice guy” narrative is a loser. Contrary to conventional wisdom, this election is not just about jobs. It’s about character, values, judgment, and integrity, too. It’s about the wholesale fraud that the Oba-messiah has perpetrated against the American people. Surrendering the likability issue is not only politically dumb, but also just plain lazy. Ignoring false memes is bad enough. Perpetuating them for civility’s sake is a recipe for another defeat. I have an idea. Instead of holding your nose and voting for Romney, hold your nose and vote for Rick. He can still win now and in November if each of you vote for him. You have to start someplace. Just say no Rino.

But all Santorum is really doing is what Billy Joel once sang about: keeping the faith. He believes what he believes, and he sees the world through that prism. Voters obviously know that and will make their decisions about the former senator based upon his well-reported resume. They don’t need Satan or the liberal press to define him.
