Wetbacks and Immigration Reform

Dean AllI respectfully disagree with your essay. I believe that we not only can do a repeat of the 1954 Operation Wetback; we should do so. There is nothing impossible about the United States securing our border in an air tight manner. I used to help do it on the DMZ in Korea. There is nothing radical, racist, or impossible, about enforcing our immigration laws, as President Dwight D. Eisenhower proved in 1954. It is high time for Operation Wetback II. Visualize an America with 10 million new permanent job openings. Visualize an America with 3 to 5 million fewer people on welfare or in our prison system and all the associated tax savings. I want the criminal, alien, invaders, treated humanely, and fed well, while they are being deported; but, I do want them deported – all of them.

Jay CoffmanToo many people get hung up in the idea of deporting millions of illegal aliens. We do not have to deport them. We just need to make sure it is not worth their while to be here. At that point they will deport themselves. If they cannot get a job, or assistance they will leave on their own.

Richard WillertonMy wife and I are American by choice, rather than by accident of birth. Our green cards were issued in 1975, 5 years after our first application. We applied for citizenship in 1980, and were sworn-in in 1985, the INS having lost our papers twice. At our pre-swearing-in ‘test,’ in San Francisco, were many would-be new Americans with interpreters present – this, in spite of a stated requirement that new citizens be able to communicate in English. During that 10 year period were 2 ‘amnesties’ for illegals – each a slap in the face for those those like us who had immigrated legally. It is clear that the existential threat to this nation is from within, from the home-grown socialism of evil and/or gullible people.

prodogg1A backbone is only as strong as its weakest verteba. If illegals are the backbone of the economy. Duh!!!

prodogg1What about the diversity you’re always preaching BHO? Why not send several million wetbacks home and import several would be Americans from diverse countries legally?

Is lawlessness illegal?

By Argus Hamilton
U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz accused the Republicans Monday of trying to make it a crime to be an illegal immigrant. She sees a conspiracy. First Republicans want to say that illegal aliens are illegal, then next they’re going to want to take away their voting rights.

Get out, or else

By Diana West
The Karzai Ultimatum story is entering national consciousness in three parts. (1) U.S.-led airstrike on May 28 kills Afghan women and children in Helmand Province. (2) Afghan President Hamid Karzai delivers ultimatum on U.S. airstrikes — stop, or else Afghans will revolt against U.S. “occupation.” (3) US-led forces (ISAF) apologize.

A crucial part is missing. I refer to the shooting, also on May 28, that killed a U.S. Marine on patrol in Helmand, triggering the fighting which led to the airstrike that Karzai would take to the microphone on the world stage. Neither Karzai, nor, come to think of it, ISAF has made much noise about this fallen Marine. In ultimatum news stories, he remains anonymous. In the rush to apologize, his sacrifice is overlooked.

Only six weeks in Afghanistan, Clore and his war dog Duke were leading a patrol to find and clear IEDs somewhere in Zad District. That’s only hundreds of miles from Kabul, but it’s nearly 7,000 miles from Clore’s hometown of New Philadelphia, Ohio (pop. 17,000). Shots rang out and Clore was hit. He died. His fellow Marines pursued the attackers who took refuge in a compound where they continued to fire at Marines. At some point — details aren’t just sketchy, they’re unavailable — the Marines called for an airstrike on the building the militants were in.

This takes us to where the consensus narrative begins with its familiar prompts and conditioned reflexes: women and children killed in a U.S. airstrike; Afghan outrage; American apology. Lost in the diplomatic furor — along with the life of this young Marine — is the fact that in calling on Americans not to strike at Taliban-filled houses, Karzai is demanding a free-fire zone for insurgents.

Tough Shit,Amigo

A beautiful fairy appeared one day
To a destitute Mexican refugee
Outside an Arizona immigration
Office.

“Good man,” the fairy said, “I’ve
Been sent here by President Obama
And told to grant you three
Wishes, since you just arrived in
The United States with your wife
And eight children.”

Seductive Beliefs

By Thomas Sowell
One of the painfully revealing episodes in Barack Obama’s book “Dreams From My Father” describes his early experience listening to a sermon by the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Among the things said in that sermon was that “white folks’ greed runs a world in need.” Obama was literally moved to tears by that sermon.

You’re Getting Serviced

By Mark Steyn
Yes, they Kahn. You, not so much. After Charlie Rangel, chair of the House committee that writes America’s tax laws, was “censured” by Congress for multiple infractions of, er, America’s tax laws, a Washington Times reporter invited him to imagine what punishment the “average American citizen” would have received had he done what the Congressman did. “Please,” Rangel told her. “I don’t deal in average American citizens.”

“R” Stands For Big Government

You can blame Obama, Reid, or Pelosi or even Bush for the state of the Union, but even all together they didn’t have the power to ruin the country.

The people responsible for our bankrupt nation are the people touting and voting for the lesser of two evils. They voted in liberal Republicans who empowered the socialists. If a third party of true Americans can’t win an election, we ain’t gonna make it no matter what ever else we do.

I don’t think that people voting third party have swung enough elections to have made any difference in getting libs elected. The people who voted for liberals just because they had an R in front of their name have created a lot of havoc though. They have had their way for long enough to take the blame for the way the country has gone over the years. That doesn’t mean you have to sell the farm when a self stated unamerican like Obama is running, but sometimes there is not much difference.

If two people are running and neither are for the American way, you can’t lose by not voting for the guy with an R in front of his name. If RINOs can’t win they will quit running. So if you don’t vote for them, you win no matter who gets elected.

So the key is to not let Obamas get elected, but if there is not a lot to lose, don’t vote for liberals with an R in front of their name. And DON’T send money to the Republican party. They will use it to make sure that an insider wins the primary. Send money to YOUR candidates ONLY. Money talks. If you keep giving the party your money and your vote they will keep selling you out. ALL POLITICIANS BENEFIT FROM BIG GOVERNMENT!

Newt’s right

By Dick Morris And Eileen McGann
In the 1980s, the pre-Blair leftist Labor Party issued its campaign manifesto to oppose Thatcher’s Conservatives in the coming national election. Its loony, leftist proposals were so extreme that the Tory media promptly dubbed it “the longest suicide note in history.”

The Republican proposal to shift Medicare from the current system to a voucher-based program of private insurance – in TEN years – falls into the same category. Don’t blame Newt Gingrich for saying so. In fact, we have to hope that Romney, Bachmann, Daniels and the other candidates join him in distancing himself from the plan if we have a hope of electing any of them president!

Adult Baby Syndrome

by Michelle Malkin
Welcome to the land of the freeloaders and the home of the depraved. No image captures America’s regressive ethos better than that of 30-year-old Stanley Thornton Jr., self-proclaimed “Adult Baby.” Profiled on a recent National Geographic reality television show, Thornton claims to suffer from a bizarre infantilism that leads him to wear diapers, lounge around in an oversized crib and seek constant coddling.
