The truth about the debt

http://www.freedomandeconomics.com/

The truth is that most people have money troubles. Most people don’t try to spend their way out of debt. Social Security is not broke. It’s Obamacare that’s broke. It’s education that’s broke. It’s benefits for illegals that’s broke. It’s foreign aid thats broke. Etc., etc., etc., and it’s me that’s broke. But the government is not broke, it just can’t support itself in the manner in which it would like to accustom itself. It’s already accustomed itself to spending way too much. Sure there’s a lot wrong with S.S. Like giving benefits to prisoners, people who are allergic to work, illegals, and who knows what else.

Social Security is a debt owed to the most important creditor. The people. If the government can’t pay the people, no one should get paid. The problem is that elected officials are overpaid. The founding fathers should have foreseen that elected office might become a career and put the people in control. The debt would disappear if the people voted on elected officials salaries.

Not paying the national debt is criminal. Not incurring more debt is not. The debt ceiling should not be raised but the debt must be paid. Congressional salaries are not debt. They promised that to themselves. Payments to programs that have not paid for benefits are not debt.

Sure there’s a fiscal and economic crisis. Pay the debt, cut taxes, let the states pay for what their people need. If California wants to support illegals and go belly up, let them. Let businesses that charge thirty grand for a five grand auto go belly up. Chrysler “borrowed” five grand from me (at gun point) to build a three thousand dollar car. Then they charged fifteen grand for the car when they found out how gullible the public was.

This is just another y2k. The trouble is, nobody in the government has an interest in correcting this problem.
